It is easy to fall in love with the city of Chania. Our picturesque city is full of places that you can explore: small local stores, historical churches and many small graphic alleys.
The best place is the historical old town since most of the sightsees are there. Besides the venetian old town, there are amazing places to discover and experience in the wider are of Chania. You can find a personal guide in our house with all the small secrets that our town has kept thought out the years.
Within just a few meters from the house there is a mini market, a winery, a tourist office and a variety of choices for food from all around the world.
The modern center of the town of Chania is just 5 minutes on foot. In the center of the town there is the building called “Palia Agora”, which means old market place, where you can find stores that sell traditional products like cheese, olive oils, raki, herbs, fish, meat and souvenirs.
At Nea Chora which is the area on the west side of the old harbor, there is a sandy fully organized beach with many fish taverns, restaurants, snack bars and cafes. For those that wish to visit a beach without using transport, Nea Chora is the right place just 1,5 kilometer from our house.
